RSP Entertainment is a small entertainment company that was founded by Lim Sung-woo in 1997. Their first group was MoonXA. A 6 member girl group that was active from 1999-2004. The girls were famous all over East Asia. After they disbanded, RSP had a hard time and found themselves with a lawsuit against them. One of the previous members of MoonXA accused RSP of mistreatment. After a long battle, RSP won the lawsuit but that didn't change the fact that they couldn't find anyone to join their company. Almost 2 decades later, RSP was on the breaking point of filing for bankruptcy. They were running out of money and the trainees over the years kept coming and going. 2021 was the year of change. Lim Sung-woo was on the verge of retirement and decided to hand down the company to his son 27 year old Lim Young-sook. A former member of famous boy group MELDZ. In 2022 Young-sook held a global audition called "The Next Big Thing." Over that year hundredths of boys auditioned and only 25 made it. After 2 years of rigorous training and trainees leaving. In 2024, RSP finally had their final lineup. A 9 member boy group named PHO3N1X 9. Will they be the next big thing or will they fail?
