Outer Banks, paradise on Earth. It's the sort of place where you either have two jobs, or two houses. Two tribes, one island. It's constant warfare, really.

Then there's me. Juniper Jones. Also known as Junie, June bug, Jonsie, Jones, really the list goes on. JJ likes to call me Sunshine or Baby. I'm the loveable and often overlooked side character. Ever read Salvador: Late or Early? I'm basically Salvador, except I'm nothing like him.

Look all you need to know is I'm low-key fucked up, I have severe anxiety and moderate depression, JJ's my best friend, and I'm a Pogue through and through.

I'm not sure whose the better influence in our friendship. He keeps me from doing something stupid (if ya know ya know), and I keep him from going to jail. We probably would have both ended up in jail if not for Kie, Pope, and Jom Bee. We're all each other has.
