An Apocalypse story story that's not as gritty.And as dark as others there are gritty and dark moments , but the whole Story is not depressing. It has a hopeful message and a bit of romance too. The 2 characters in the story are.
Alex: The POV character a 17-year-old boy with a few mental problems none that make him ichange. with his home being nuked by a foreign power.It's up to him And people he needs along the way to Rebuild.
Lilith: The girl Alex was with when the nukes started dropping. She is 17 and a 1/2 years old. They were having to sleep over.(And yes, I do mean a regular sleep over. Get your mind out of the gutter at least for this story.) When the bombs dropped and they fled together.
This is the first of many stories. Be sure to look out for them in the future. Until then.

Alex tries to ignore Deraci, but somethings are just too hard to do alone. Then Alex is to be sent on a solo mission, but Dylan says it's too risky and convinces them to allow him to go with her.
