Two of Yokohama's most enigmatic figures, Nakahara Chuuya, a fiercely independent and headstrong supermodel/influencer, and Osamu Dazai, a laid-back yet enigmatic freelancer, are forced to become roommates after a mix-up with their respective housing arrangements. The two find each other to be the exact opposite of what they were hoping for in a roommate and it's a recipe for disaster. Chuuya's perfectly curated life clashes with Dazai's effortless mess.
Basically they hate each other.
But in the heart of the city, anything can happen.

After they broke up Dazai moved away and they haven't been in contact since. But what if they both ended up in the same college and became roommates. As time went by they both started falling in love. But life isn't all sunshine and roses both have issues they have to face. After Dostoyevesky's death having Dazai nearly witnessing the death of all of his friends, he finally has an actual change in heart. Despite that, he's plagued with horrid nightmares of everyone dying and all because of him. As always he can't seem to get away from Chuuya either with him being the focal point of every nightmare and it did have an impact on him. Dazai realises he in fact holds strong feelings for the short ginger man. Naturally, of course when one side of double black changes so does the other. All this while trying to deal with 7 missing people and 6 missing families is a lot to juggle. This encounter leads to their relationship deepening, but will they be able to survive new missions? And will Dazai be able to hide his past from the ADA? Update as of 8/23/2025: Sorry people who clicked for a nice light fluff fic, I really did mean to write one, but well lets say it did not work out that way.
