"Monty, you need to get out of here....I'll deal with Esther." I tell him as we walk further into the woods.

"No, you've been dealing with Esther for your entire life. I want you to be safe. We just have to leave together." He replies as he looks back to me with a worried look.

"Alright, let's go," I reply as I feel him grab my hand, and we take off running.

Suddenly, we stop at the sound of an all too familiar voice. "Oh, is someone having a bad day?"

We see Esther staring at us, with her cane in her hand.

Wendy is the 17 years old Witch who lives in Port Townsend. She has been raised by infamous witch Esther Finch since she was 3 years old. When Esther found out there was another witch living in the town, she took Wendy from her parents, and wanted to teach her everything a witch should know, but her real motive was to take Wendy's abilities and become stronger. When Wendy was 7 years old, Esther introduced her to Monty, her crow familiar, and since that day, Monty the Crow has been her best friend, since she was never allowed to leave the house.

One day, Wendy meets the Dead Boy Detectives, whom Esther has a vendetta against. Esther forms a plan to turn Monty into a handsome boy, and with the help of Wendy, they will lure the dead boys to their horrible fate. Wendy is shocked by Monty and starts to gain feelings for him that she never expected, and Esther doesn't like that one bit.

What happens when the group of detectives finds out who Wendy and Monty are? All the while, Wendy and Monty are growing closer and closer by the minute, and Esther finds a way to put an end to it. And Wendy finds out more about her past.
