Bakugo wasn't interested in friendship when Kirishima crashed into his life. As if middle school wasn't turbulent enough, a bond struck between them with the intensity of everything at that age, fiery and violent right up until the end.
The charged finality of their separation existed as an awkward blemish on their past, marking the day they parted. But when they enroll in the same high school, their past is forced into the present and reinvigorated with tense memories.
