Six weeks ago, the Pogues jumped off the Coastal Venture. They lost the Royal Merchant gold, they lost the Cross of Santo Domingo, all to Ward Cameron. They ended up stranded on a deserted island, with nothing.
Six weeks ago, Abigail was a shell of herself, trapped in a nightmare forced on her by her parents lousy choices.
And now, six weeks later, the Pogues are still stranded, but, none of them are complaining. Poguelandia was their paradise. They made it work, as best as they could. The past few weeks offered them something they haven't had since summer began.
A break.
And before they know it, their break is over. A flying fish comes falling from the sky, to "rescue" them from paradise, only for them to crash land right into another life threatening situation. Another greedy, rich man after gold, targeting the Pogues for Denmark Tanny's diary, that's back on Kildare.
The Pogues realize they're in way over their head this time, and they have no choice but to flee back home. To Kildare.
Abigail doesn't expect everything to feel so different when she steps foot back in the Outer Banks, but it does. And by everything, she means everything.
John B's got them risking their lives again, while everything around them continues to implode.
Will this be the Pogues breaking point?
The Lighthouse Series - Part 3
I do not own Outer Banks, the characters from the show, or the plot. I only own my original characters, and their storylines.
Outer Banks Season One Rewrite with OC
Liana Celia Routledge has always been a wildcard-fiercely loyal, quick-witted, and just reckless enough to make life interesting. Growing up on the Cut with her twin brother, John B, and the Pogues, she's never needed more than sun-soaked days, weed, and the kind of friendships that feel like family.
But when they stumble upon a long-lost mystery that could finally lead them to the truth about their father, everything changes. As the hunt for the legendary Royal Merchant treasure intensifies, so does the danger lurking in the shadows of their island home. Liana is used to playing with fire, but this time, the stakes are higher than ever.
Through storms, betrayals, and buried secrets, she leans on the Pogues-especially JJ Maybank, the one person who has always matched her chaos step for step. Their flirty banter has always been just that-harmless fun. But as the world around them spirals out of control, the lines start to blur. And Liana can't ignore the way JJ looks at her anymore... or the way she's starting to look back.
With their loyalty tested and enemies closing in, the Pogues will have to fight to keep what matters most-their freedom, their family, and the truth hidden beneath the waves.
This summer, the Outer Banks will never be the same.
