Newt and the Gladers are awakened by the greenie alarm. The Gladers get their panties in a twist and are so caught up in the new turn of events, that they don't realize that the creators have put more things in the maze. Runners come back haunted by new creatures, and then, instead of a boy, up comes a girl. Things slowly start to fall apart, a few gladers are taken, the creators are forever changed. Newt realizes that the girl is important. And likes her :) Somethings don't change. Minho is still as sassy as ever, Chuck is still as cute as always, and Alby is still in charge. Gally is still a jerk, but has his memories. The gladers are wondering why there was only one girl because after she came up, it went back to boys. Jacob, a glader, somehow ends up in the box hole, and Winston is removed right before the glader's eyes. Whats happened to the glade and all the order it used to have?

Teresa is the first girl to arrive in the Glade? False. The first girl in the Glade was in fact Mia, she arrived over a year before Thomas and Teresa. The reason no one talks about her, they all think she is dead. Mia arrived in the box, same as everyone else but here's the catch, she doesn't talk. Not can't, doesn't. After a few months in the Glade Mia is sick of it, she runs off into the Maze at sundown. The Gladers assume she is dead when they don't hear from her for a week. But in reality she has been living in the maze with the Grievers, she made friends with a few of them and they protected her from the others, she runs around the maze during the night and hides during the day so that the Runners wouldn't see her. She has lived like that for almost a year now, watching over her Glader friends from afar. Each month she would watch as the new Greenie would come up in the box but then one night after a year in the maze her friends Minho and Alby get stuck in the Maze with the new Greenie. I wake up to the sound of metal clanging off metal. It isn't a peaceful awakening I think. It was pitch black wherever I am, yet there is a sliver of light at the top of this.....tunnel maybe. Forrest. That's the only thing she remembers, her name. She enters The Glade like everyone else, through the metal box. She just has typical black hair and brown eyes. If I was you, I very strongly suggest you don't mess with her. She's may look like a Jane Doe, but don't mess with her. One bad move with her, you're screwed. Now the brunette has gotten used the Glade, but a hatred has now grown within her. At least she has some friends with her. Except her and Newt are closer then normal friends. (Book 1) Life was as normal as normal could get for the boys in the Glade. The Runners ran out into the gigantic Maze surrounding them, people went about their day as usual.
