Asher Falkner is the quintessential con man - selfish, greedy and charming. But when a serious mistake is made, the price can be more expensive than expected.

Asher pays this price by being thrown into a mysterious hole by the mafia, which has been nicknamed the "Abyss". But for some inexplicable reason, he survives the fall and finds himself not at the bottom of a ravine, but in another world.

Now Asher tries to find his way in his new surroundings and use his abilities from the "world above". But his fate takes a strange turn when the tattoo on his back begins to change. Not knowing what to expect, he sets off on a journey through new lands and searches for his way back to the surface.
