"Kiss me," She says, a tan hand snaking around my waist. Tiny bolts of electricity run through my stomach as she pulls me towards her. Her words reverberate through my head, but I can't seem to grasp the meaning. Holy shit. - Shelby is your above-average mean girl. Razor-sharp wit, annoyingly perfect blonde hair, and a nasty attitude. Oh, and she's fucked every guy in school. That's a personality trait, right? But what happens when Bethany kisses Shelby? It changes everything. And you know what? Change is fucking scary. Especially when that change makes your cold heart skip an extra beat. - This is an LGBT+ story. All my love stories are wlw-centric. I am a queer author, and that's what I LOVE to write. This is my favorite story I've ever written- but I stared it when I was 18! I'm 21 now so I apologize if anything is iffy. It's still a rough draft! Nova is a girl who has been bullied for not being normal, and as a result tries her best to be "normal". This ends up pushing the people she cares about away, and she uncovers something new about herself that she hates. ------- Normal. What does it mean to be normal? Other people always seem to know what it means to be normal, but I can never figure it out. "Why can't you just be normal?" Those six words ring over and over and over again in my head every single day of my life. It feels like every part of me is being ripped apart piece by piece whenever I hear those words in my head, and I don't know how to make it stop. What is so wrong about my life, that tears run down my cheeks every single night? What is so wrong about me. ⚠️This story contains abuse, self harm, homophobia(I think, I haven't read this in a while), and bullying.
