Lost soul in search of comfort (Fyozai)

He wanted to so desperately follow Oda's wishes, to help people, be a good man like he was told, but the darkness had clawed itself into his skin and down into his veins long ago, infecting his blood with black.

But maybe, just maybe, he could use these two years of laying low to his advantage, shed his old skin, drain his blood and when he returns, he'll be a good man.

So he comes crawling back to the demon he left so many years ago, grasping at the last remnants of comfort. He must look pathetic, like a kicked puppy asking its owner for forgiveness but, alas, a good thing about Russia was that it numbed his nerves.
