It is the year 3046, and civilization has made great advancements, with new technology almost being made yearly thanks to the help of an organization going by the name of {DEADLIGHT}. However, as civilization advanced so did nature, bringing new species to life of strange origin. Some of these species seemed to have a strange connection to some kind of afterlife, this made religious connections for many. However, {DEADLIGHT} saw these species as a threat and started hunting them down to the point of extinction, they did this away from the eyes of the public. As well as starting experimentation on various of these creatures. When one of these creatures breaks free together with one of {DEADLIGHT}'s cat subjects, all hell breaks loose.
