After the sudden death of the king of Lothlindor, his son, Daerion Stormraven, ascends the throne at the age of 25. To appease his people and ensure a fair choice, Daerion announces a contest to find his queen. Noblewomen from across the elven kingdom are invited to compete in a series of trials that test their strength, skill, and grace. Among the contestants is the ambitious Isilwen Silverleaf, who brings along her younger sister, Elowen, merely as a companion.

However, as the contest progresses, Daerion finds himself drawn not to the competitors, but to Elowen-quiet, unassuming, and full of a gentle strength that captivates him. Though Elowen has no interest in the crown, her presence stirs emotions in Daerion that challenge his sense of duty.

The Sun Beneath the Moon's Watch by Takoyaikski
5 parts Ongoing
Hayden Wright, a human born in the Sun Kingdom, was raised in a happy family in a lush and bountiful region, surrounded by people who adored and fawned over his kindness and beauty. But he holds a secret his family has kept hidden for years, hoping he could suppress the magic surging inside him and the ultimate responsibility he must bear. Caelus Elara, the elf prince of the Moon Kingdom, was strictly groomed to be the heir to all of fae and elven society. Despite the handsome façade and quiet demeanor he showed to everyone else, there was a spark of kindness and playfulness in him that only Hayden could bring out. One night, when Hayden was still a child, he crossed the stone border between the human realm and the Fae realm. While in a mystical forest he had never been to, he met a young elf with long, pointed ears. "Prince Caelus," the elf introduced himself. Delighted by the first human he had ever set his eyes on, he showed him his magic. To his surprise, Hayden mimicked his tricks, which led him to wonder if the person he was talking to was even human in the first place, as no humans could ever possess such magic. This drove Caelus to seek answers, hoping to help his newfound friend. Before Hayden returned, they promised to keep in touch until they discovered the reason for the human's powers. They continued to meet secretly until they both reached the age of 18, keeping the promise they had made as children while also hiding another truth-their growing attachment to one another. Two boys bound by eternal duties: the chosen one and the elven prince, caught between a looming disaster and their own burdens. Will they speak their hearts before time runs out? " FOR THE LOVE WE NEVER NAMED " by onlyshivi
1 part Ongoing Mature
Astryn Faerwen had spent her entire life being abandoned-by her mother, by her sister, by the very people who were supposed to protect her. Forced into loneliness, used as a pawn, and discarded like an afterthought, she had learned the hard way that love was nothing more than an illusion-a cruel joke played by fate. "You think love is your salvation, Astryn? Love is a slow, merciless poison. And I am your undoing." Then came Kastiel Ashgrave-charismatic, broken, and dangerous. A man who drowned his demons in alcohol and used love as a fleeting distraction. She gave him everything-her heart, her soul, her loyalty-only to watch him shatter her into pieces. He turned cold, found comfort in another's arms, and left her gasping for air, bleeding from wounds no one could see. "You were never mine to keep, Astryn. You were just... a beautiful tragedy waiting to happen." Betrayed, humiliated, and stripped of everything she held dear, Astryn vowed to destroy the man who destroyed her. But revenge was a double-edged blade-one that cut through the remnants of her own heart. And just when she thought she had nothing left, she saw him... Tess Doveworth. The boy who had always been there. The one who never left. The one she never noticed. "I was never your second choice, Astryn. I was just waiting for you to see me." But could she love again after being wrecked beyond repair? Could she trust when trust had only ever led to ruin? A dark, emotional journey of betrayal, revenge, and the love that was there all along-Even When You Didn't See It.
The Chronicles of Starlyn by CraigAPrice
27 parts Complete
Elves are immortal, except death by battle or poison. Yet, despite that fact, Starlyn’s mother is dying, and nobody knows why. Starlyn loves her mother and desperately searches for any way to help her, yet it seems there is little she can do but sit and watch. Even the elven healers and herbalists are stunned and cannot find a way. Other elves turn away from her aid, afraid of a weakness –an illness- in her bloodline, and would rather her mother die than taint the other elves with her weakness. Starlyn’s sister, Arria, refuses to sit and watch as their mother dies and takes more drastic measures to try and save their mother. She dives into the restricted books in the elven library about dark magic. Dark magic has been forbidden for the elves because it is said that even the willpower of an elf cannot prevail against the touch of a dark taint. Arria is no longer concerned of her own welfare and dives heavily into her studies. Strange things begin to happen, and Starlyn ends up learning of her sister’s studies in the dark magic and is forced to confront her. The elven law states that if you begin in the art of forbidden magic that you are forever an outcast from the elven order. Starlyn wishes to reason with her sister that dark magic is not the way. Her love for both her mother and sister leave her torn to either save her mother or her sister, and if at all possible to save them both. However, if she doesn’t make the right choice, it may condemn both of them to death, and leave Starlyn without family, which is the very thing she treasures the most.

In a world where Elves and Vikings are bound in eternal conflict, two powerful kingdoms stand on the brink of war. But for Elowen, an orphan raised in the shadows of Elvendor's shining towers, the stakes are personal. Abandoned as a baby, she's learned to survive in a city that values power above all else, a city where she's nothing more than an invisible pawn in a game of magic and politics. On her eighteenth birthday, the Luminara ritual will determine her place in this world, either among the elite or cast back into the darkness. But Elowen is no ordinary elf. As the ritual unfolds, an ancient power stirs within her, a force older than the kingdom itself, pulling her into a dangerous web of secrets and lies. Caught between two worlds-one ruled by the privileged elves, the other by the fierce Vikings-Elowen finds herself torn between duty, love, and the dangerous unknown. Eirik, the Viking chieftain's son, should be her enemy. Yet his storm-gray eyes see through the label of "threat" that's been placed on her. But loving him would be treason. Denying him? A betrayal of her own heart. As tensions rise between the two kingdoms, a dark power awakens, threatening to consume them all. Elowen must navigate treacherous alliances, face an ancient enemy, and decide where her loyalties truly lie. But one thing is certain-she was born to shatter the boundaries of both worlds.
