As the Philippine diaspora continues to expand, the need for effective leadership and governance structures that resonate with the experiences and aspirations of these global citizens has never been more critical.
Today's symposium, "𝙁𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙥𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙨 𝙐𝙡𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙢𝙖𝙧: 𝙋𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙥𝙥𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙨 𝘽𝙚𝙮𝙤𝙣𝙙 𝘽𝙤𝙧𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙨-𝙏𝙤𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙙𝙨 𝙖 𝙉𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙚𝙣𝙨𝙪𝙨 𝙤𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙋𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙥𝙥𝙞𝙣𝙚 𝘿𝙞𝙖𝙨𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙖," sought to initiate a comprehensive and inclusive dialogue among a diverse group of stakeholders, including representatives of thirty-five (35) Philippine foreign service posts, government agencies, the academe, and civil society organizations.
The aim is to collectively explore, define, and achieve a consensus on the future direction of the Filipino diaspora so that their needs and contributions are recognized and integrated into national and global frameworks. 🌏🌟🇵🇭

If Samson was alive today, would the people see that even in his death God moved powerfully? If Apostle Peter was here today, would he find a spiritual family that would accept him even after he denied Jesus? These were only a few of the questions that Zarinna craved to answer. After her drastic downfall, her empty heart longed to be filled again. She knew she was a long way from where she was before, but this couldn't mask the intense longing she had for God. This couldn't keep her from desiring His touch - the touch of the only One who can mend her shattered life. For a time, she assumed that this was all she needed to handle, until the charming Missionary David Awiyao showed up in her life that things began to get even more complicated. How will Zarinna live her life now? Where can she find refuge? Will there be a restoration for the fallen Anointed? 1st Place - Walk by Faith awards 2020 3rd place - The Glory Awards 2019 2nd place - Project I Am Strong 2019 •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• "I know you might find this strange to hear but," Gina kept her gaze towards Zarinna, smiling as they locked gazes. Welcome to your Antifragile Leadership journey! I am thrilled to have you onboard. It has always been my philosophy that knowledge only becomes power when it is shared. I created this E workbook with demands for leaders and game changers like you in mind. You'll have a great time learning because these are the lessons that we wish could have been taught to us when we were starting out our careers but now we are provided with the amazing opportunity to include it in our leadership toolkit. Each page is experience and wisdom centered. With my nine years solid track record of leading frontline teams for ANZ and SG broadband and mobile companies, I have successfully led cross functional teams from inbound and outbound phone support, live chat, email, Social Media ( Facebook, Twitter and Instagram ) to review platforms like Google, Seedly, Product Review, Trustpilot and Broadband Compare and in the process multiplied leaders in our team thanks to the amazing mentors and teammates that I met through work and my reads. Their help enabled me to build engaged permanent work from home teams. You'll experience world-class cohort-based learning as leaders at hyper-growth companies and business owners facing high levels of complexity, diversity and ambiguity. By the end of your read, you'll have increased confidence and tools for building antifragile teams that scale-delivered in a meaningful experience with lasting impact. I'm grateful for your support. Thank you very much, Jan

The Consular Investigator - From Here to Inequity

"We're both Filipinos," I said. "we must help each other." Ridiculously, I am now saying the words that somebody has always told me in the past; a common expression of all my previously investigated visa applicants - - something that I always ignore because of my dumb loyalty to the embassy and to my job. Now, I never know whether or not this loyalty can save my life. The embassy that I respect so much is not even aware of what really happens to me in the field. "Alright, say farewell!" The leader cocks his M-16 rifle and aims at me. His forefinger makes contact with the trigger of the gun; slowly squeezing it to blow my head off. I tightly close my eyes; waiting. I have no choice but to prepare to die.
