In between the lines follows the story of Sircle Harrington and Inlara Thompson, two high school students who enter a fake relationship after Sircle's ex-girlfriend moves on with his best friend. Determined to make his ex jealous, Sircle convinces the quiet and bookish Inlara to play the role of his new girlfriend, under one condition: they must do everything he avoided with his ex-matching outfits, fun dates, and public displays of affection. As they pretend to be a couple, they start to blur the lines between fake and real, discovering feelings they never expected. The story explores themes of love, identity, and the unexpected depth found in the spaces "in between the lines."
