Over the years izuku learn how to defend himself in private, read comics from before quirks were around and learning about heroes quirks. One day, while izuku is running away from his tormentors, he runs into the forest to lose them. After he does he realizes he's lost and then he sees a meteor coming towards him. After it crashes izuku feels like it's calling to him, he goes near it and almost in an instant he feels a sudden surge of power and strength he never felt before. Now with these new abilities he will become the next number one hero and symbol of hope.

What happens when a certain quirk erasing hero decides to take the teenage delinquent under his wing and help him earn a place in the world before it melted from under his grasp? But no matter how hard he tries to get past what happened and ignore his fate creeping closer, he can't stop thinking about what could have been.
