The mother legally adopted Ai, and sent her to her, "brothers" school. I don't know what the hell is happening. One day I am happy go lucky, and the next everywhere I turn dead people are turning up. And they all want me to say something to someone close by and I do the only logical thing. I run. It isn't fair. My older sister is the witch of love, she can charm anyone with a simple touch. My baby sister is the witch of wisdom and she is starting to just know things out of no where. But now I have dead people, and worst of all, I have my unknown mates, first mate. And she is trying to make me change and be just right for him. So I go and see Clarissa, she is the elder witch my sisters and I have talked with about us. And apparently I can see through the second plain. I can speak with the dead, like Ghost Whisperer and A Medium. ~~~~~~Excerpt~~~~~~ "You can see me!" She said and her face turned ecstatic and I blinked and shook my head. "No, please, I need you to tell my mother that I didn't mean to do do this to myself." I asked looking around the restaurant. "The one at the front desk... her name is Maria." She said following me as I walked back towards the front. "A? Where are you going?" Ivory asked and I just held up my hand. "Hi, are you Maria?" I asked and saw the girl nod. "Yes, how can I help you?" She asked with what I can tell was a fake smile. "I know this is going to sound crazy... but your daughter is here." "Mina." The dead girl piped in and I looked over at her. "My daughter is at school." And things couldn't been better for the Family Madrigal. Then again... Antonio just got a gift of communicating animals. Luisa still has her gift of super-strength. Isabela grows cactuses secretly. She has no commitment with Mariano Guzman by arranged marriage. Dolores meets a big dumb hunk. Bruno feeds the mice every late night. And Camilo's not a hugger. Pepa, Julieta and Bruno are altogether for a bigger issue to occur. The magical candle stops burning. And the casita still stands. And that's when Mirabel ultimately starts her adventure. "Oh my god, is it really you Luciana?" I wasn't sure if that was meant towards me, since there's probably a thousand Luciana's around the world, so- I did what any reasonable person would do, and kept window shopping while minding my business. Well- I tried too, but then I saw an awfully familiar figure beside me, though it didn't really click as I turned to her. "Hazel Ford?" There was no way that my high school friend, was standing in front of me right now. "In the flesh." She smiled at me. I take back what I said, this was really Hazel. When I moved to New York with my parents, me and Hazel became friends in high school, and we kept on being friends until I moved back to Brazil, then I guess we both had things to think of and lost contact. We decided to grab a coffee together, and then she told me that she worked for the Starstruck Agency, basically a design/ model company, and she told me that she could put in a good word of me to her boss. My mate. So weak. So pathetic. I have a weak and pathetic mate. I thought as I looked at her in disgust and displeasure. Just like me when I was human. She is human! I don't want a mate. I don't want a weak and pathetic mate! She can't fix me! She's nothing! Screw this! My thoughts were going berserk with the rushing flashes of my past. I tucked my hand through my hair roughly in an unsuccessful attempt to stop the replay of those horrible evocations. I laid her on the small grass patch at the side of the deserted road. She was half-conscious, so possibly she could hear me... "Hey!" I said, jerking her pale face gently. Blood was covering half of her face but she was still looking beautiful in the moonlight. The sparks weren't going unnoticed and I reminded myself that it was just the mate-bond. I was determined in my decision and there was no way I was going to change it. The girl opened her eyes slightly and with that, I did what I thought was right at that time. "I, Kane Wilson, reject you as my mate!" I said, with all the strength I could have mustered in my miserable state of emotions and with that, I left her there, feeling extreme pain in my heart. But I pushed that pain aside and ran from there in my ultimate inhuman speed. Away from her!
