Nightmare

My puppets were guarding me as I slept blissfully on my bed. Staring at the ceiling, I almost called out to Celestia. Covered in blood, my bed felt like a thousand thorns stabbing me, when I could feel each one on my back. Every. Single. One...

Pain.

I have supper, and go back to the Fatui headquarters. I shut the door. I dance. Each crescendo combines with the robotic piano. Emotions are mixed, and so are my feelings. Knives are shattering in my ears. Piercing my lungs... suffocating me.

Pain again.

The sins I committed were layed down on the floor. Bare, naked, whatever you may call it. Sometimes, I wish the darkness would fade once in a while...

Pain once again.

Stages between life and death. Light and dark, the sun and moon. Opposites that need each other to survive. The abyss on the other hand, makes the horizon non-existent. Something that cannot happen under any circumstances. Horrifying screams echo in my ears... but at this point, it's just a nightmare.
