David Grady, the estranged brother of Owen Grady, is a seasoned dino expert working at Isla Nublar's Jurassic World. For David, the park is more than just a job-it's a way to support his family and try to rebuild the fractured relationship with his two sons, Marcus and Christopher. 

When they are unexpectedly sent to visit him at the park, David sees it as a chance to reconnect. However, things take a terrifying turn when the genetically-engineered Indominus Rex escapes, plunging the island into chaos.

As Jurassic World falls into havoc, David's attention is torn between the park's disaster and his desperate search for his missing sons. Teaming up with his brother Owen and operations manager Claire Dearing.

David must confront deadly dinosaurs, his past mistakes, and his fears. With time running out, the Grady brothers fight not only to survive but to heal old wounds, finding that the greatest challenge is not the prehistoric predators but repairing the bond between a father and his children.

Dinosaurs roamed the Earth over 65 million years ago, but in 1993, a man by the name of John Hammond with the help of geneticist introduced them to a new world. He brought in several people to the island of Isla Nublar in order to endorse the idea of a dinosaur theme park. A park where people could interact with living and breathing dinosaurs. Among those people were Dr. Alan Grant and Ellie Sattler. The park trial failed resulting in death and the shut down of Jurassic Park. In 2015, Simon Masrani and his company Masrani Global had shown their interpretation of John Hammond's dream with Jurassic World amusement park operating in full swing. However, the park went into full chaos when a hybrid called the Indominus Rex escaped and wreaked havoc all over until it was stopped by heroes Keira Grant and Owen Grady with the help of friends and trusty (somewhat) velociraptors. Jurassic World was in shambles and was turned into a sanctuary, redesigned to protect the dinosaurs. After hitting a few speed bumps, Isla Nublar became a safe haven.
