Follow Catherine as she explores the Gothic Abbey and encounters witnesses, looking for clues. ************ This chaptered short story is a rewriting of Jane Austen's Northanger Abbey" I wrote while I was tutoring a highschool student and she had to write a detective story and she hated it and I proposed we do a "Catherine solves the mystery" rewrite and she was onboard and we ended up with her version and my version (this is my version). (I lost the end of my original text so I'll have to re-invent it...) Some of the dialogues are from Jane Austen's novel and/or Jon Jones's film adaptation but most of the text is a retelling (and departure from the original) in my own words. But first we're making another deal.'" ---- The 4th Winchester's, Katia Bryant's, life has been Hell- literally- for the last six months (or sixty years in Hell time). When a loophole appears in her deal, and Katia gets the chance to escape Hell, she practically jumps at the opportunity. The is where the expression "biting off more than you can chew" comes into play. Now at 21-years-old, Katia has a year on Earth to complete Crowley's second deal. If the task is not completed then it's back to Hell with her. Due to the changes that have taken place whilst Katia was in Hell (and Purgatory), the deal is a lot harder to complete than she first anticipated. However, help seemed to turn up for Katia when she least expected. And it came in the form of the two brothers she hadn't seen in four years. With the help of Sam and Dean, and just three months remaining, will Katia be able to stay a free citizen or will she be sent back to the torture of Crowley and Hell? - (Sorry for the bad description, I suck at these. This story has been uploaded onto different platforms, Ao3 and fanfiction.net -- Emma's life used to be fairly normal one for someone living in England in the early 21st century, nothing peculiar but that all changed when in 2021, at 19, she woke up in the past, more specifically 1909. Emma turned up in Yorkshire, England on a mild day (what else) in the grounds of an estate called Downton Abbey. After literally falling onto the floor right in front of said owners of the estate, the Earl and Countess of Grantham, Robert and Cora Crawley.
