The Everlasting takes place in a dystopian future where society is controlled by a totalitarian government that has implanted microchips into the forearms of its citizens. These microchips subtly control the emotions and thoughts of the population, suppressing their ability to truly feel or think for themselves. The chips also leave eerie black veins beneath the skin, a constant reminder of the government's grip on their lives.

Ethan, an 18-year-old boy, lives in this oppressive cyberpunk society. Along with his two closest friends-Kayden, a sharp-witted redhead, and Tyler, a fierce and fearless young woman-part of a rebellion that seeks to free society from the government's control. The stakes rise when Ethan's brother is captured, and the government begins hunting down anyone without a microchip.

In an attempt to infiltrate the system, Ethan and his friends undergo brutal training to become guards and hunters, discovering along the way the secrets behind the microchips and the dark agenda of the Everlasting Corporation (ELC). Throughout their journey, Ethan meets Amber, his doctor, a young woman tied to the mysteries surrounding the city.

As the rebellion unravels more hidden truths, they stumble upon a society beyond their wildest dreams-a solarpunk utopia that contrasts the grim and decaying world they know. They also come face-to-face with interdimensional beings, raising questions about humanity, power, and what lies beyond the fabric of their reality.

The story weaves themes of control, liberation, identity, and the fight for free will as Ethan and his friends work to dismantle the ELC and awaken a society long kept in the dark.

["I stood there: waiting, wanting, hoping, feeling. Allowing the sensations of the world to consume me as I stared deeply into the pools of honey that were his eyes. I wanted no more than to dive right in. For him to hold me close and never let go."] La Push was a quiet town where nothing overly interesting happened. At least, nothing other than the rumors circulating Sam Uley and his alleged cult. But let's not get into that just yet, shall we? My name is Casey Apha, and no, I am not a girl, and this is not some romantic tale about how I found the love of my life. This is a story about the internal struggles of an average boy who suddenly became a lot less average and a lot more . . . interesting. A kid who was now aware of both the fact that he could phase into a giant wolf on command and how the sun reflected off of his best friend's eyes in a way that made them more valuable than any jewel in the world. With that being said, my life has grown to be a lot more complicated. The main source of my problems starting with those lusciously brown eyes that left me wondering what the hell I was thinking. And how in between the self-loathing and night patrols, I learned to love him and, most importantly, love myself. Follow along with Casey's story as he finds love, acceptance, and a place to belong. ~~~~~~~~~~•~○~•~~~~~~~~~~ (Embry Call x Male Oc) *Posting when I can* All original rights: Stephanie Meyer Casey and his fam: All me :)

Maxine is an 18-year-old girl who is bored and lonely, living in California in the year 2351. Now, after a war that nearly erased humanity, people are forced to live a strict, dull, communist lifestyle. Everyone seems okay with this way of life. Everyone except Maxine. Maxine had always been special; she was often able to predict events. How? She didn't exactly know...yet. When she starts having dreams about a tropical island where people live as they did in the 21st century, she meets the man of her dreams: literally. Her new boiling emotions bring her to wonder...what if it's a real place? When she starts her search for the island and bumps into Elis-the man in her dreams-she suddenly knows it wasn't all just a making of her imagination. Finding that island could mean finding the answers to her burning questions, and maybe even answers to questions she didn't know she had. However, not everything is what she thought it would be when she finally finds the island, and her dreams become a harsh reality. Elis turns out to be someone else, and when another man swoops in every time Maxine is in danger, she becomes confused about what love really is. The Advisors, the ten women governing the world, want to assimilate the people of the island, not knowing that those people have an extreme advantage over them. Maxine also learns that her family has been lying to her about who she really is. Ultimately, when the Advisors come to destroy the island, she must face the fact that she is the key to the island's salvation, and embracing her rapidly developing abilities is the only way to do so.

Paranormal Romance (Werewolf) You know that movie Jerry Maguire? It's about this sports agent who got fired for suddenly having a conscience. Anyway, there's this very romantic scene by the end of the movie when Jerry made this very heartfelt and passionate declaration to his wife. Those words would melt you into a puddle and make you burst into tears thinking, "I want to have that kind of love!" Well that very sweet scene did not happen on this story, not all of it anyway. Don't get me wrong it was heart wrenching, very much so, and there was a passionate declaration. But instead of saying the oh so loving, oh so sweet and oh so scripted "I love you. You complete me..." like Jerry did in the movie, my 'mate', the other half of my soul and the one who 'completes' me said, "I hate you. I wish you were dead!" He said it with disgust and anger burning in his eyes. He didn't run into my arms like he was supposed to, he ran away from it. But who could blame him? Jerry Maguire was right. We live in a cynical world and we work on a business of tough competitors. Why would my mate want to be with me? He'd be shunned and be forever laughed at. Aside from the fact that I was male, I'm basically useless to him because I'm a werewolf who can't phase. He's an alpha. He could have anyone he wants. And me, well, I'm on the bottom of the pack, the runt of the litter. The council didn't know what to do with me. They couldn't kill me since it could drive my mate insane, even if he didn't want me. I can't kill myself because it would probably have the same effect on him. I have to live but I can't be with my mate and my pack. So I made it easier for everyone, I ran away. I always believed in the saying "Out of sight, out of mind." What I didn't consider was the possibility that they'd come after me and forcefully bring me back.

Hunter Anther was like an open book, he'd never been afraid to be his true self. Especially his sexuality. However not everything is for everyone. Being born to the one of the largest pack to ever exist, he wasn't accepted. Everyone hated him and often bullied him, even his family. He'd hoped that after meeting his mate, regardless of gender he would finally find peace and happiness. But the moon goddess truly wasn't fond of him because in addition to being an outcast, he wasn't blessed with a wolf. What happens when his future Alpha, aka biggest bully and former friend turns out to be his mate. Will he accept and care for him or make him lose the last bit of hope he had? Like a saying goes 'The grass isn't always green on the other side.' *** "I didn't mean it.. I.. I was young and ignorant..." he tried to explain while clenching my hand, I looked at him in disgust and pulled my hand away. "What about me? How old wad I to deserve all the things you did to me?! Tell me, how was I different from you? Four years ago you rejected me after everything you've done to me. It wasn't enough punishment for you, you didn't even spare me a glance after ruining me. You left me, you are not gay." My voice trembled bit at the end but my face remained as emotionless as ever. I will never give him the satisfaction of seeing me vulnerable, not again. But why does my heart feel like it's bleeding? Shouldn't I be hating him and happy that he's on his knees begging me. So why am I tearing along with him? **** 25/02/24 - 9/08/24 **** A/N How many of us believe in second chances? Does love really conquer it all? This is not a 'love is blind' story, if you're looking for one.
