This an lion king au story were two cubs become friends and grow up together, one is mufasa son called simba and the other cub who isn't related but yet under scars care is  named kovu. Many years went by after what had happened kovu never believed scar that simba passed away or abandoned the pride lands,  what helped with never Givin his hopes  up was rafiki telling kovu that simba is indeed alive. So one day he went off to go looking for him. Eventually he had found Simba and asked him to come on back to help the pride from suffering under scars ruleing. Taking responsibility to take his place as king that is rightfully his. With much convincing simba finally decided to come back with the help of his friends, family, and kovu by his side to take his place as king and home back.

During her time with Mufasa and his pride, she comes to realize that they have more of connection then they thought. After tragedy strikes once again, Shani and Simba are sent into exile and they run away into a jungle to be taken in by a meerkat named Timon and a warthog named Pumbaa. When they are forced to return to The Pridelands to face Mufasa's evil brother Scar, will Shani fight her fears to help Simba take his place as king and find out who she truly is within herself?
