** Placed after A Dangerous Path. Now, people who have read the Darkest Hour before, you guys, shut up. I saw Fireheart, while reading the Warrior books... and I saw how much stress he was putting on himself as the deputy with Bluestar going as crazy as she was... With all the 'pack pack, kill kill' problems and Longtail, his suspicions about Darkstripe and Tigerstar becoming the leader of ShadowClan ALL WHILE narrowly averting a battle with WindClan... I was surprised that he didn't eventually break, let out all of his emotions all the stress he was feeling... I'm here to fix that! So here's a version of Fireheart who believes that he shouldn't act like a defenseless kittypet. So he keeps all of his stress, anger, rage, sadness, frustrations inside. Now onto the description! **
_____
"I'm fine," he would tell every cat. But it's gotten to the point where no cat believes it. With all the stress he's putting on himself, any cat who had brain cells could see that Fireheart was NOT fine- even Longtail could. He has been the averting the leader ceremony for ages. Multiple cats at the gatherings have taunted the leaderless ThunderClan.
Fireheart's closest friends, Graystripe, Sandstorm, and Dustpelt have also seen this, and are very concerned. All he says as an answer is the two taunting words...
"I'm fine."
Fireheart is not fine.
Fireheart's attitude also changes. He snaps at every cat he sees, and even had the nerve to call Tigerstar out and reveal to all the clans what he did, leaving ShadowClan also leaderless, turning the Gatherings into a hopeless nightmare lasting for a full moon. No meetings, no conversation, just awkward standing around.
One night, Graystripe, his best friend, sees something unexpected of his friend. Fireheart seemed to be arguing to himself! For a moment Graystripe thought he went crazy like Bluestar, and nearly panicked. As he went to comfort his friend, Fireheart attacked him. What is wrong with Fireheart? Find out in this book.
