The year is 1731, and a 17 year old boy named Ash has been in the old childcare building in the Ember Glaze woods for as long as he can remember. He doesn't know anything about the outside world. Meanwhile, Ash notices the caregivers are acting... strange. Their skin... doesn't fit their bodies the same anymore.
