'Dean?' 'Hey Rosie' he grinned at me while his eyes raked over me from head to toe as he leaned against the doorframe 'You look real good. Can I come in? We need to talk'. I stood staring for a second before my brain caught up. 'Y-Yes come in' I stuttered as I opened the door wider allowing him to step around me. When nobody followed Dean inside I looked out the door and noticed the empty impala parked out front and instantly my stomach dropped, John wasn't with him and my father hadn't returned either. Although excited to see him I knew him being here alone meant something was wrong, I hadn't seen Dean in close to a year so him showing up claiming we needed to talk meant that whatever reason John Winchester had for showing up last week meant trouble ... for both my family and the Winchesters. _____________ Rosalie Pierce met the Winchester boys when she was only 6 years old and they soon became friends and protectors of hers. Her father Tony met John on a hunt and through the years worked together on and off where possible although at times Johns temper would get in the way and cause a months long argument resulting in no contact between the children. Dean and Sam would come and stay sometimes with the Pierces when John went on hunts alone and vice versa. Rosalie and the boys bonded over having hunter fathers with no mother figures to speak of and soon they felt almost as close as family to eachother. Rosalie always had a crush on Dean but it seemed to never be reciprocated, with her being 3 years younger than Dean he saw her as a sweet girl too good for the hunters life so he did his best to protect her and as he got older helped Tony keep her out of the life as much as possible. But what will happen when John shows up looking for her father only to then disappear? Dean will be forced to fight every instinct he has and ask Rosalie to come along on the hunt for answers but what will that mean for them together?

He was so, so close, dangerously so. I couldn't bring myself to pull back, to break eye contact. I was entranced by him. He kept me there, locked in his intense gaze. His eyes burned with something I hadn't seen ever before. Or maybe I just hadn't noticed. "Penny for your thoughts, Si?" Dean's breath fanned my face, making me pull in a breath of my own. I needed to step back before I couldn't control myself. You. But I wouldn't tell him that. I couldn't. For one, his ego did not need it. Two, I was scared. I was terrified that this would go too far and it wouldn't work out. "Wouldn't you like to know?" The words slip past my lips faster than I can stop them. That seemed to happen around him. I couldn't control the things I say or do. Normally, I had the best self-control a person could hope for. But Dean...he was able to rip that to pieces with just one look, one word. Dean chuckles and my body warmed at the sound. He stepped closer. His body brushed mine now and I couldn't breathe. But the burn in my lungs felt nice. Dean looked at me for a few moments. I could see the wheels turning in his head. What was he thinking about? I desperately wanted to know. "Screw it." He muttered before leaning down and kissing me. ___ Saige Dawson was a longtime friend of the Winchesters, the eldest brother especially despite the fact she was two years younger than him. She'd always had a tiny crush on him, not that'd she's admit it. And definitely not to him. John would bring his sons to her father's farm where they'd spend a week or two every once in a while. Saige had grown up hunting and with the Winchesters. She'd opened up to Dean, shared all her secrets and spilled her entire life story. He did the same. So one day when he stops by for a visit and tells her that John was missing, Saige had to help. John was like a second father figure for her. She couldn't just leave him hanging. And she couldn't leave Dean hanging either. He needed her help. So she would help.
