Talia Gilbert is the twin sister of Elena Gilbert. She was born with the powers of a witch, but much like Bonnie Bennett, she had no idea about her true power until the three Salvatore brothers arrived in town, bringing a slew of enemies and problems for the sisters and their friends. She only discovers her true power when Klaus Mikalson kills her and her sister. While Elena comes back normal, Talia comes back different - as a tribrid, a combination of a werewolf, witch, and vampire, even more powerful than Klaus himself.
