I've been alone all of my life knowing I was different. Once my 18th birthday happened, I knew why. I could turn into a wolf. But I couldn't be around people too much so I could keep them safe. Since then I thought I was the only one, until I went into town years later and found out Im not the only one.

Secrets and lies were never a part of my life. Until, that is, I met him. Then, everything changed. Or, maybe things were always messed up, and meeting him just brought clarity to the obvious. He says we're meant to be together, but I don't even know who I am anymore. He says he will always protect me, but he doesn't understand the pain that I've faced in my life. Werewolves used to be the villains in fantasy that I read growing up. The wolf who chased after Red. The wolf who blew down the little pigs' houses. Now, I'm told that they're real, and I am meant to spend the rest of my life with one.

I had been running for what felt like hours. My legs were burning, and I knew my body was about to give out. The tears that had long since dried still clung to my face. I was covered in bruises and cuts from tearing through the forest. Everything hurt-not just my body, but my heart as well. Just hours ago, I was at a motel with my mom, arguing about dinner, and now she was gone. She killed herself to protect me. That's what I keep telling myself, but deep down, I know it's not true. She was tired of running, tired of hiding. The hunters were close, too close, and to avoid being captured and tortured again, she decided to exit on her own terms. I had to get out of here fast. But I had nowhere to go, nowhere to run or hide-still, I kept going. Thankfully, I had good instincts and the one lesson my mother ever taught me: shapeshifting. I just needed to throw them off my trail. I glanced over my shoulder to see if I could spot any pursuers, but that was a mistake. I tripped and hit my head on a rock, and everything went black.

The life i was living was chose for me. I went from having an normal life to finding out that I had a mate and would soon have a baby. Life was a whole different ball game. Betrayal, Heartbroken, and lost was the worst anyone could ever go Through. I had a whole other life that I had to learn from. People wouldn't even believe in this kind of world just like I did but I was actually apart of this world and wouldn't change nothing about it...... You're a liar and you always will be FUCK YOU and leave me alone!!! "I thought you said you loved me but instead I walked in on my mate kissing and rubbing his hands all over another girl",. I was sooooooo excited to tell him we were expecting but once again my father was out to get me. I left and didn't come back I abandoned my family and friends. I simply disappeared.
