This is my first novel and I'm ecstatic to share it with you guys. Suggestions and comments are much appreciated!!!

Melody is different. Some kinds of different might be freeing, but Melody's kind is not one of them. Or is it? Once, she was a normal teenager - or at least as normal as she wanted to be. Then a tragic series of events took everything from her. Blaming herself for not saving whom she loved the most, she shuts everyone out. But when a fateful car accident leads to an encounter with death himself, the girl learns that hope is never truly lost until one chooses to give up. Even as her life is shattered once more, she tries to hold on to the belief that she can escape the grief. But what if escaping meant losing herself? Melody starts to question everything she was certain to know about life, truth and herself, while long lost secrets about her past threaten to destroy her completely. As she finds herself falling in love with death, the borders between reality and illusions start to blur and confront her with the choice of how much she is willing to sacrifice for happiness.
