Amirah spent a few hours pacing in her room, when someone knocked on the door. She pulled it open to see Aventurine standing there with his glasses on and his signature smile on his face. He shoved his foot in the doorway before she could close it.

"Hey, don't want to see me?"

He looked at her hair and reached out to ruffle it, making it even worse. "There, now it doesn't matter."
