**Novel Description:**

In a world where heroes walk a razor-thin line between justice and brutality, *Blink* follows Benji, a 17-year-old raised in an isolated Japanese temple by a powerful but powerless blind Sensei. Benji and his fellow students possess extraordinary abilities, trained to show mercy in a world that offers none. But when a betrayal from within leads to a devastating assault on their temple by deadly assassins with terrifying powers, Benji's belief in the path of restraint is shattered.

As his rage and power spiral out of control, Benji discovers a dangerous side of himself he's struggling to contain-one that threatens to consume him entirely. Grappling with the death of his mentor and the betrayal of his brother-in-arms, Benji must decide if he will continue to walk the path of mercy, or embrace the darkness and violence that calls to him. In this gritty, action-packed story, the lines between hero and villain blur, and mercy may be the most dangerous weakness of all.

In an alternate timeline, the human race found a way to create superpowers. By extracting energy from stars and inserting that energy into humans, 'powers' were created. Powers allowed humans to gain unnatural abilities such as flight, invisibility, super strength or in other words, superpowers. Of course, with the introduction of something so revolutionary, people rose up in the hundreds of thousands in an event known as the Great Rebellion. The insurgents banded together under a single banner and became collectively known as the Shadow, marking the beginning of the Cosmic Wars. Out of the darkness, the Gazers were born. Using what remained of the power technology, the Gazers singlehandedly perished the evil and ended the conflict. However, there was a price to pay. Powers put a toll on the human body and had serious mental and physical repercussions. The solution was to recruit children from the age of 13 to 18 and train them so their bodies would adapt to their powers, eventually becoming immune to all negative side effects. The end of the Cosmic Wars brought forth a new age of peace and prosperity that the world had never seen before. However, the long reign of the Gazers has already begun to crumble, cracks showing up within the very thread of society. Their rule will not last for much longer. The Shadow will rise once again. Or in other words, my unintentional and accidental ripoff of My Hero Academia :/ Blurb is a work in progress

All I wanted was to help. I didn't expect to discover a world of non-humans. I have enough to juggle between going through medical school and work to pay for my tiny apartment. But when Ruby, a young pregnant woman is in need of help, I decide that one more thing can't hurt, right? I guess the answer is yes when it ends up with me trapped in the centaur world with a one year old and an electric fox that could stab me in the back at any moment... again. It doesn't help that I don't know the language and they're on the lookout for me. My goal is to make it home or to the child's father. But they're centaurs, unicorns, and pegasus after me. I know I can't outrun them but I can make it through this world without getting trampled, right? ("Into the Centaur World" takes place in the same universe as "Tèarmann Chronicles")
