Guesthouse is an exploration of love, identity, and the haunting weight of family ties from my perspective. Daniel, a young man caught in the emotional void of his home, feels more like a guest than a son. His connection to his family has long since frayed, leaving him searching for meaning in a house filled with cold indifference. But Amelie is the one person who reignites his heart, offering him a glimpse of the warmth and affection he's been starved of. But beneath the surface, secrets and unresolved pain threaten to unravel everything. As Daniel grapples with his inner demons and the distance between him and his family grows, his bond with Amelie is tested in unexpected ways. Caught between the life he longs for and the life he has, Daniel must face difficult truths about love, forgiveness, and the past that refuses to let him go. Guesthouse weaves an emotional journey that draws readers into a world where love is fragile, and the past lingers like a shadow. Will Daniel find a way to reconcile his fractured relationships, or will the ghosts of his past keep him from ever feeling truly at home?

The Erwin family has always loved Summer. It's their favourite time of the year. Especially for Ella. Ella's parents were teachers at the local high school, which sucks but its also amazing since they get the entire summer off. The Erwin family always spend the entire summer at their second home at Beaconsfield lake. Or as everyone else likes to call it, there cottage. This year however Ella felt like it would be different there. She can't place her finger as to why, but she knew it will be. Daniel Walker has always been the bad boy of his school. His parents never home, and always traveling for work. When his parents decide to buy a cottage on Beaconsfield lake and actually spend a summer together Daniel couldn't have cared less knowing his parents would leave him there in the first week. But his attitude suddenly changes after meeting a spunky shy blue eyed girl he starts to think Beaconsfield isn't so bad. Rankings #1 in JackCarson - March 29, 2020
