A Clove Kentwell and Cato Hadley fan-ficion. These two characters from District 2 are born to win. Born to bring victory to their district. Cato and Clove have been more than friends for a while, but hiding it hasn't been easy.
Clove's grandfather, mother, and oldest brother are Victors, and she's expected to become one as well. The pressure doubled for her when her 2nd oldest brother skipped out of all the glory. She's a sarcastic, viciously violent, and strong 15 year old who won't stop until everyone she needs to kill is dead. She trains hard every day just to prove to her mother that she's enough. Will her mother ever except Clove for who she is?
Cato's father, mother, and older sister are all victors as well, and he's always planned to join them. He trains regularly with Clove and has felt things for her for a while. Their parents will make sure that romance is out of the question until their goal is achieved, so his feeling stay known to only her. Cato feels at home when his sword and spears are in his hand, and the bodies start hitting the floor. You're not supposed to be happy when people are dying, right? He hasn't let that stop him. If wining means Clove might finally see him as an option, then hell ya!
This story is a Hunger Games fan-fiction with characters that have a real story to tell. I hope you enjoy.

Well, as I've been writing my other fanfics (and going to high school myself) I've been thinking of great scenarios that won't work, because the stories aren't present time. So, I decided to be unoriginal for once and write this. Panem High School is a prestigious private school in the Capitol of the country of Panem. It's where all the best, brightest, and richest citizens send their children to school. None of them are as one dimensional as they seem on the surface.
