Chatting Through The Multiverse REDUX

Izuku thought himself crazy. Ever since he could remember, this... screen thing had hung in the center of his vision, displaying a single word:

Despite it rendering him mostly-blind, he held hope, and sought to be a hero regardless of how people saw him - or how he didn't see them. For ten years, Izuku fought against the tides of unjust discrimination from his friends, neighbors, his schools, and even the presiding government, but his hope remained firm. Hope that he could one day help and inspire people with a smile on his face, just like his personal hero All Might.

One day, at the age of ten, Izuku was in the midst of class when the screen in his vision finally changed.
