In the land of Sevaran, the world is divided into six nations, each unique in its people, culture, and natural resources. Among them, Vel rises as the most infamous and prosperous nation, now basking in the spoils of a recent and brutal war. Its cities glimmer with wealth, reflecting the cold, ruthless nature of its leader, King Dave, who wields the element of metal with a power unmatched by any other ruler.

The war, a decade-long clash over control of resources, ravaged the lands of Ruki, Mason, and Cinder Moor. Vel's insatiable hunger for dominance was fed by its allies, Aura and Jenta, who provided supplies, soldiers, and intelligence in exchange for Vel's promise of wealth and territory. Together, the three nations formed a triumvirate of power, conquering their enemies with brutal efficiency. While Aura and Jenta thrived as Vel's subordinates, Ruki and Mason fell into economic despair, their people struggling under the weight of forced tribute and constant surveillance by Vel's iron-clad soldiers.

Cinder Moor suffered the worst. Their people, known for their resilience and unmatched strength, put up a fierce resistance.
Stories of rebellion spread through the downtrodden lands, passed from village to village in Cinder Moor, Mason, and Ruki. They speak of an uprising that will challenge Vel's dominion. Among the ruins of Cinder Moor, a group of villagers gathers in secret, their eyes burning with the promise of vengeance. They vow to fulfill the prophecy and ignite a rebellion that will turn the tide against Vel's metal-fisted rule. And so, the seeds of resistance are sown, with hope igniting in the hearts of those who have lost everything.

Unbeknownst to King Dave, a storm is brewing-a storm that threatens to dismantle the very foundation of his empire. As the prophecy foretells, the nations will rise against him, and a new leader will emerge from the ashes of Cinder Moor. The question remains: who will answer the call and become the harbinger of change?

Re-posting. The common story is that finding a mate is supposed to make the wolf stronger. For an alpha, finding his mate, blessed by the moon goddess, strengthens the pack. But there can be such darkness hidden in that dynamic. Even those of cruel hearts can seek the power of a mate. And the damage they cause might not ever be healed. ***** Prologue: Drip. Drip. Drip. The rhythm or the water would have been soothing if it hadn't been so cruel. Drip. As it was, it was nothing more than a taunting form of torture. Drip. Ears could hear the soft thudding of raindrops at the end of the hall as a door was pulled open in squeaking protests and then shut with a harsh metallic clang. How the rain made its way into the depths of the cement room, it didn't matter. It was there. Drip. Step. Drip. Step. The footsteps were strong and full of purpose. Though just as unwanted as the drops of water that fell too far out of reach. Unable to quench the dehydrated desperation chained to the wall. Drip. Step. Drip. Step. Only one set of footsteps. There was no question of the destination or purpose that carried them down the hall. Not that it was a surprise. It was always the same. First the pain, then the visit. The cell door opened to darkness. There was no energy to move, not even enough to will eyelids to open. Not that it mattered. The visit never changed. What more could be said? What more could be done? All that mattered was that stale, barely edible food was only given after he was done. Only then, could there be any comfort from hell. ***** WARNING- This story does delve into topics of kidnapping, imprisonment, rape, murder, and violence. Though the scenes are not explicitly detailed, underage readers are discouraged. Also note that I do not own the rights to any photos I have or might post for this story. Just photos I found online, cropped and edited. The story however, is all mine. No copy of content is permitted.

"What are you gonna do? Call for help and cry?" He cooed. "Shut the fuck up!" Damsel shoved him away, only to be slammed back against the wall again. "I'm a damsel in distress! Help! Help! Where's my Knight in shining Armour!" Darren mimicked a high-pitched girly voice as he held back his laughter, grinning from ear to ear. He couldn't help but lean down dangerously close to Damsel's face Smiling, causing the younger to scrunch up his nose in disgust in result. Sure, the boy was annoying, but the pure satisfaction of the reactions he could get from the younger set a bomb of butterflies to explode in Darren's stomach. "Darren I'm not in the mood- fuck off!" Damsel spat in his face, the spit landing on Darren's cheek. Blood was rushing to Damsel's head, as he desperately tried to calm down whilst being trapped between the muscled arms resting on the wall behind him. He was flustered to say the least as his heart beat started thumping ever so loudly, Darren's nose just inches away from his. Darren could only scoff as he wiped away the spit that landed on his cheek, flames boiling and evident in his eyes, yet he wasnt sure if it was anger, annoyance, or something else. He aggressively lifted damsel's gaze with a tight grip on the younger's chin. Dominance coated his next words as a smirk grew on Darren's face. "But your knight's right here princess, where are you gonna run off to?" -------------- Damsel prince and Darren Knight. Ironic, right? You wouldn't catch these two getting along even if they were locked up in a closet together; they'd just be trying to rip each-other's throats out. That's just how they were. They'd do any little thing to piss the other off, it didn't matter what, when, or how, they wanted a negative reaction out of the other and that was it. Enemies. Both alphas, both hot-headed, both with anger issues. And both hated eachother. They had far too many similarities. [x]

*COMPLETED* My head bowed in a heavy mannor, not in respect, but in trepidation. I discern his unwavering gaze over my ill silhouette. "Look at me." I opened my eyes, though it made no difference. Black is still black, all I am left with are my four senses. He will kill me if I don't look. He will kill me if I do. He will look into my sightless eyes and see my futile existence isn't worth living. He will kill me, and he will be doing the pack a justice by it. He growls a low, throaty snarl to warn me about disobeying an alpha. There will be consequences, we both know that. His lingering growls let me know he is not going to allow me to contravene his word. I steadily inch my head upwards, visibly shaking everywhere else. Maybe he won't notice my depthless eyes from across the gazebo. My life depends on it. "You're blind." ~ Monet was born into a particularly prestigious area of her wolf pack, to parents of extremely high standards. Her legacy is to become the packs next healer, but when she was born completely devoid of melanin, all her mated parents saw was a disappointment. Being born an albino wolf pup meant a lot for Monet, but it mostly meant her condition had taken her eyesight along with it. What happens when Monet meets the Alpha of a neighboring pack? Will he accept her for what she is? ~CONTENT WARNING~ This book contains depictions of physical abuse, foul language, and upsetting scenary. Six high school students looks like anyone else acts like anyone else but are capable of things no one else is. They learnt from a young age no one that means NO ONE can know about their powers even their parents and other siblings. It brings out the true friends and those who just want to use you. In the end, what do you do when your closest friend betrays you? This is the story as they try to keep their biggest darkest secret of what they are capable of and as they discover they're not the only ones like them... I am not very good at trigger warnings before individual chapters but there is mention of blood, cold abuse and parents divorcing. (But read at your own risk in case I mention something else. I am working on rewriting this story and when I do there will be the trigger warnings in the correct places.) (small teaser.) No one sees me. I am a ghost. I brush against the wooden fence. No one will believe it was me who disappeared into a fence and appeared on the other side of school. I stare at my brother. He made eye contact with me, confirming my suspicions. We both saw it. Whoever that was is like us. "Did you just see that?" I ask "You're that person my brother and I saw," He says. Oh no... Why then? "Wait! You're-" Completed just editing. (Don't be too harsh please)
