She looked at me strangely, ten years dancing in her eyes. "Why are you here?"
Conner has had it bad. For all his life he has been rejected by his father, a dissapointment to his mother, and the girl of his dreams has cheated on him with is best firned. Feeling sour toward the world he takes a vacation to Miami, where he meets beautiful and mysterious  Rose. But sadly, Conner and Rose are seperated and as Rose's life becomes better his life spirals out of control into drugs, crime, and ruiing friendships. Ten years later he meets up with Rose, fearful and anxious.
