୭ - (v.) A few moons before Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen gave birth to her son, Prince Jacaerys Velaryon, she did bring forth her beloved daughter, Princess Alysanne Targaryen, a sweet baby and fruit of a clandestine night shared with her uncle.

Meanwhile, deep within the corridors of the same castle, Queen Alicent Hightower struggled to bring forth her second daughter. Tragically, the child died during childbirth. In a moment of desperation and cunning, Otto Hightower, fearing the king's wrath over his daughter's 'weakness,' took advantage of the chaos and swapped the two infants, ensuring that no one would witness his treachery and that his daughter would not suffer a broken heart.

Thus, Rhaenyra, oblivious to it all, mourned the loss of her firstborn and the daughter she so dearly desired, while the rightful heir was raised in a different cradle-so close yet so far from her sight.
