When Mirabelle is forced to transfer schools, she finds out just how real love is, and how hard she could fall for a boy. Mirabelle is a 16 year old who can't help but love herself. She has lots of friends and she stands out from everyone. Her perfect life comes crashing down when her parents announce they are moving states due to a perfect business opportunity. Despite her protests and begging, they move to the city that never sleeps, New York City.

There she makes a lot of friends and her future is looking bright, until she is partnered up with her rival, Hades on a Science project. They bicker and fight about the project but slowly and as time passes, they start to cool off. They soon start spending time with each other, and Mirabelle can't help but fall for Hades. Will she reject her feelings for Hades, or will she confess her admiration of him?
