Calum MacGregor wasn't your typical Highlander. While his ancestors had proudly worn traditional woolen kilts, Calum was a modern man-an outdoorsman, builder, and mountain climber who valued practicality above all else. So, when his grandfather passed down the family's tartan kilt to him, Calum wasn't sure what to do with it.

"It's a fine kilt," his father said, admiring the thick wool and intricate pleats. "Worn by generations of MacGregors."

Calum held the kilt up, the green and blue pattern woven with threads of history. But all he could think was how it wasn't the most convenient attire for chopping wood, hiking, or even working on his carpentry projects. Yet, it didn't feel right to set the kilt aside.

One day, while browsing a local outfitter shop, Calum stumbled upon something that caught his eye. There, hanging between hiking pants and jackets, was a rugged, durable piece of clothing-sturdy, sleek, and designed for hard work. It was a utility kilt.
