Caitlyn Jensen was a normal person. A cheerleader. Accomplished pianist. A boyfriend who she's promised to. It's as though nothing can go wrong in her life.

Until something does.

One mistake. One mistake was all it took. And one mistake was what happened.

The healing process is different for everyone. But for Caitlyn, it might be one of the most difficult things she'll ever have to face -- if she makes it out the other end, that is.

From the author of 'Obliviate: A Dramione Fanfiction' and 'Love Will Thaw: A Frozen Fanfiction' comes an original story of love, hope, and what it truly means to heal.

This is a mature, standalone girlxgirl story. Caitlyn never expected her best friend's little sister to kiss her on New Year's Eve four years ago. To her, Hazel was always Jace's awkward little sister nicknamed, "sprout," that tagged along in car rides, wore baggy clothing, and would be afraid of being the slightest bit tardy to class. So, of course, Caitlyn had to let her down gently before Hazel returned to her first year of college. Four years later, her best friend presents her with the idea of moving in with Hazel, who freshly graduated college. Obviously, she agrees, because what harm can little ole' sprout do? A lot. Because, Hazel is a lot different than what Caitlyn remembers. Bratty, tight clothing, and overall body of a goddess, all paired with the Hazel she knew and loved. But, under this new exterior, Caitlyn can't help but think differently of the woman that kissed her four years ago. - Hazel was always in love with her brother's best friend, Caitlyn. Ever since they were kids, she admired her from afar and tried to get as close as possible. So, misinterpreting the signs, during winter break of her freshman year of college, she decides to kiss her. Oh, she was sorely mistaken. Crushed. Heartbroken. Humiliated. Hazel goes back to college with the intention to forget about Caitlyn and reinvent herself. Yet, when she's found herself in shitty situation where her apartment isn't available for the next year, her brother convinces her to move in with Caitlyn. What could go wrong?

(under revision) Caitlyn was the only heir to the throne born because her mother passed away. Left to live in the shadows of her castle, her father only worried about teaching her what he believed was important to rule. He didn't remarry to try for a son, bitter and more powerful than ever. Because he had nothing to lose, not even his own daughter at times. Caitlyn and him drifted apart even more than they were before. Especially as he started treating her solely as an object for his use. Leading her to need some type of escape, some type of fun again. And as her skills in her shot, her strength, and her wit increased. So did her confidence and her will to win, leading her to start sneaking out of the castle gates. Almost every night scaling the buildings and walls to watch the night life in the upper city. Until one night when an incident occurs, causing her to accidentally run into someone. Revealing herself to a complete stranger. Knowing full well that a predicament would arise if that ever happened, she fumbles her way through compromise and bargains to get off easy. But of course, life throws you curve balls and nothing is ever easy. But maybe...maybe that's for the better. ⚠️This is a mature story with mature themes and scenes. Reader discretion advised if you have a sensitivity to abuse, descriptions of injury/light gore, blood, and sex.⚠️ (I never thought I would bring this story from Ao3 to Wattpad...but I'm at home sick and being forced to isolate from my roommates. Moral of the Story by Emmani_
27 parts Ongoing Mature
"Some people fall in love with the wrong people sometimes." "I don't believe that." "Don't believe in what?" "Love might be hard, or complicated, or messy, but it's never wrong." "Even when it hurts?" "That's when you know it's worth it." "Nothing is worth that much pain." "Pain only makes love stronger." "And if it ends? If mistakes ruin it?" "Mistakes'll get made, but in the end, it'll make us better. That's the moral of the story." ~~•~~ It's just the story of two girls falling in love and falling apart. Unfortunately, they're doing so in Hollywood, where fame is both a blessing and a curse. Wren Legend, an increasingly popular b-list actress/singer/songwriter, has already made her mark on the world. Having won both a Golden Globe and Grammy at the young age of 18. After meeting Jenna on the street one day by chance, their connection is undeniable - except they're both denying it. ----------- One of the main reasons I wanted to write this is because there are some really terrible (like disgusting and poorly written) stories about Jenna - and all celebrities, to be honest. The entire premise of fanfics is a little weird, but I figured, if they're going to exist, there should be good ones out there that don't just like glorify the celebrities body for specific s*x themed reasons. (Not that all fanfics are about that, but a good number of them are.) And so I just thought, "if you can't beat 'em', join 'em." If I'm gonna write a fanfic, it's gonna be about more than just fantasies about fu*king them. If I'm gonna write a fanfic, it's gonna be romantic, and interesting, and funny, and suspenseful. If I'm gonna write a fanfic, it's gonna be good. So... I hope this one is.
