I look up and give him the fakest smile i can put on "did my constant harasser also become my stalker?" i said referring to him saying my name before looking back at my computer. He sat down next to me. "Not a stalker or a harasser just an acquaintance" he said before continuing "also i got your name from your friend, also let her know i do not want her please and thank you" he said before getting up "she doesn't want you either" i responded not moving my eyes from the screen "definitely not what she said last night" he said flashing me a smile which i rolled my eyes to. I was sincerely praying he was grabbing his stuff to go so i wouldn't have another interaction with him, but of course not. His friend left and he came back and sat by me. "I'm trying to do homework can you please go somewhere else" i said in a heavily annoyed tone. "See i would, but one i think you like me too much to actually want me to leave" he said before i cut him off "i don't" he laughed before continuing "this next part is really gonna suck then" he said pausing obviously waiting for a reaction out of me which i don't give him. As A Friend
College is supposed to be different from high school, yet here I am living almost exactly how I was back then. I still don't party. I still don't date. I still ace my classes. And my best friend is still the most popular guy in school who encourages me to try new things on the regular. He takes me to parties, as a friend. He teaches me how to flirt with boys, as a friend. He holds me when we sleep, as a friend. He offers to teach me how to kiss, as a friend. And I think I'm starting to fall in love with him, not as a friend. DISCLAIMER: Hey guys I know most of my books are PG-13 to the T but this book is not. There is swearing. There is sexual behavior. There is talk of drugs and alcohol. I don't condone/encourage any of these behaviors. I'm just writing about college and a lot of these things do take place in college, so for the sake of being realistic, I included them. Bittersweet
|| COMPLETED || I want to be ready for college, but I'll be leaving everything behind. I don't want to forget my mom, my friends, or the memories made. Then again, I want to move on, run away from the heart break following me. I want to be free, I need to be free. For everything that I know, college could be a restart for highschool. A time where I don't make mistakes or where bad things don't happen, but I know they will. Though focusing on the negative won't lead me anywhere. Sadly though, that's all I ever learned to focus on. Learning things about my family that disgust me, learning about family members I didn't even know existed. It's all new, like morphing into a new body, you have to learn how to control. Sadly I don't know how to control myself, I can't control my emotions. I want to be ready for college, I am.
