Entropy

Tanner is a normal teenage boy with a picture-perfect family...but sometimes appearances are deceiving. Tanner knows better than anyone that a closed system tends to disorder. And the chaos of his own mind is threatening to send him down a path from which there is no turning back.

"Even if they don't come out and say it, I can tell they're both sort of waiting. Expecting. That my brain will crumble and I will break. That order will fall into Disorder.
But this is different, I know that it is. It's not the same. Not the same as last year. If that was a pit of darkness I was drowning in, this is the opposite. This is a tunnel of strobing lights that my brain is careening down, and I'm not sure where it ends or that I want it to."
