Ben Weaver is just trying to survive high school while keeping his biggest secret-he's a witch. Balancing the magical world with his ordinary life has always been a challenge, but when the mysterious new student, Tom Merrick, shows up at Oakridge Academy, everything gets more complicated. With his brooding intensity and sharp gaze, Tom seems to be watching Ben a little too closely, and Ben can't decide if he should be afraid or intrigued.

Sam, Ben's best friend and ultimate protector, has her own suspicions about Tom. To her, he's bad news, and she'll do anything to keep Ben safe-even as she begins to fall for the new girl in town, Flower. But Flower isn't who she seems either, and her secrets may be even darker than anyone realizes.

As Ben and Tom grow closer, their secrets threaten to collide in a way neither of them could have predicted. Beneath the surface, ancient enemies are preparing for a fight-one that could tear Ben and Tom apart before they ever have a chance to figure out what they are to each other.

In a world where magic and monsters hide in plain sight, Ben, Tom, Sam, and Flower are about to discover that some secrets are worth keeping-but others could change everything.
