THE DOMINIQUE PELICOT CASE

Can you imagine how you would feel if after almost 50 years of marriage, you discovered that you were drugged every night and raped by several men recruited on the internet by your husband? The man to whom in front of the priest you had promised love and fidelity, in wealth as in poverty, in health as in sickness every day of your life until death do you part.
Unfortunately, this imagination is a reality and this was the case of Mrs. Gisele Pelicot betrayed by her husband in the worst of ways.
It all started on September 12, 2020 in Vaucluse. A man was caught red-handed in a supermarket by a security guard of the establishment filming under the skirts of several customers, particularly young women. The security guard, enraged over this, confiscated the suspect's phone and convinced the victim with whom he had caught him to file a complaint, restraining the suspect while he called the police. When the police arrived, the suspect was identified as Mr. Dominique Pelicot, he was taken into custody and his computer equipment seized, what the police will later discover will lead to a trial that would resonate throughout France and around the world.
