We have some amazing writers in our community, and this event is for them! We would like to invite you to Datura November Writing Month + Preptober, where you can set a personal word goal (we expect a minimum of 2k words) and write as many words as you want.

The event is here to help you reach your writing goal, whether that is a new project or an old one. This event will mainly be held on Discord, but we will also post some on our Wattpad.All Rights Reserved

As a way to better myself as a writer I've decided to challenge myself this October. This book will begin on October 1st and end of October 31st. Everyday I will push myself to write and publish a chapter. I honestly do not know where this book is going, what will happen, or how it will end. But that is a journey we can take together! Since this is the month of October there will be a spooky, Halloween spirit, twist to this story. This challenge was inspired by a friend of mine, who wants to better herself as an artist, participating in Gore-tober. A few seasons ago, I participated in NaNoWriMo with the goal of writing a story a day for the entire month of November. I was able to do this and ended up with well over 50,000 words for the month. This book ended up with around 43K words, but it is missing a few stories. I didn't want to put anything that goes with "Pearls of the Mother" in the "Illogies." Each day I sat down to write, I had a different mood or something else I was thinking about, and I let that guide my writing process. I think a couple of these may end up with follow-on stories or maybe even books of their own. I hope you enjoy these; I know I do.
