Skyfall

Vaelyra Targaryen was born into a crumbling dynasty. Her family, once rulers of the Seven Kingdoms, had long since been cast out after a rebellion that ended their reign. Vaelyra grew up in exile in Essos, hidden from the world, with only tales of her ancestors' glory. Her parents, though distant, instilled in her a sense of destiny: to reclaim the Iron Throne and restore their family's honor.

After a tragic accident that claims her parents' lives (possibly an assassination by a rival house or faction), Vaelyra is left alone at a young age with her older brother, Rhaenos, who becomes abusive and manipulative as he seeks to exploit her for his own ambitions, seeing her as a means to gather an army and reclaim power.
