Taalia Khan and Misha Maroun have been best friends ever since they were babies. Now, after turning twenty-one, Taalia and her friend are starting their final year of University so that they could go on to fulfilling their dreams of opening their own fashion industry, while still having time to work part-time at her local Masjid as an Islamic teacher for young kids with her other friend/partner-in-teaching, Aasim Malik.

Aasim Malik had finally graduated from medical school and was now working his way into becoming a full-time doctor to help people in a way he couldn't help his sister. After he met Taalia, he was determined to make his dream come true while helping her at the Masjid.

But things take a major turn for both Taalia and Aasim, as well as both of their families, when Taalia suddenly falls ill and her life is at stake. He started walking toward her, causing her to instinctively take a few steps back. Before she knew it, she was pressed between the car and her husband, with no way to escape. Her breathing deepened as he gently held her chin, lifting it so that she had no choice but to meet his eyes. "Aap mujhe avoid kar rahi hain?" His voice was calm, but the question felt more like a statement. Her throat tightened, her voice stuck. She could only shake her head in denial. (Are you avoiding me?) "Nahi?" he repeated, slightly raising an eyebrow, as if daring her to lie. (No?) "Aisi... aisi koi baat nahi hai," she stammered, quickly ducking her head down as he loosened his grip on her chin. (It's...It's nothing like that) ------ Aisha grew up finding solace in her faith, which shaped her values and dreams of building a loving, faith-filled home. Since high school, she'd harbored a soft spot for Omar, a family friend whose ambition and drive set him on a different path. While Omar respected his parents' beliefs, his focus was on building a successful business, and over time, he distanced himself from religion, feeling isolated even within his close-knit family. When their families proposed marriage, Omar agreed out of respect, viewing it as a formality rather than a heartfelt commitment. A year into their marriage, Aisha found herself yearning for a connection that Omar, still focused on his ambitions, seemed unable to give. Yet, hints of change began to emerge, offering hope for a journey that might bring them closer, rooted in love and faith.

Rayyan's phone buzzed just as he was about to leave the bus. It was a Snapchat from Amir, with the caption, "You'll never guess what I heard about Aisha..." Curious, Rayyan opened the message to see a photo of Aisha laughing with her friends, Fatima and Zara. He couldn't help but be captivated by Aisha's radiant smile. Although Zane's message suggested there was gossip about her, Rayyan's attention was entirely on how charming Aisha seemed. As he watched Aisha and her friends walk toward the school entrance, Rayyan felt a pang of unease. He had heard the rumors about Aisha-the new girl who was seen as too reserved for the social circles at school. People often thought she was aloof and unapproachable, but something about her intrigued him. Taking a deep breath, Rayyan put his phone away, determined to find out more about Aisha despite his friends' warnings. He was about to embark on a journey into Aisha's world, one that would be filled with unexpected connections, challenges, and a romance that defied all expectations. Rayyan had recently transferred from his old school and was known as the "troubled kid." He often spoke his mind without considering how his words might affect others. In contrast, Aisha was more reserved. Although she cared deeply about what people said, she rarely spoke and was perceived as quiet and somewhat distant. She had only two close friends. The big question was whether Rayyan and Aisha could ever get along. Would Rayyan be able to express himself more thoughtfully and uncover the truth about Aisha? And would Aisha eventually warm up to him and possibly develop feelings for him? Only time would tell

Healing between the lines .. <3 by Imaan2009

Imaan never imagined that love could be this complicated. It wasn't supposed to be this way. Growing up, she had always been told that love would come when it was meant to, that it would be simple and pure-guided by faith, respect, and the traditions of her Pakistani roots. But now, sitting in her room late at night, watching the soft glow of her phone screen, she wondered if she was meant to just follow the path laid out for her, or if there was more to love than what she'd been taught. It had started when she met Rayan again after all those years. They had known each other since middle school, but it was only now, in high school, that something shifted. He wasn't just the guy she'd seen in passing anymore. He was someone who made her feel seen, heard, and respected in ways she hadn't even known she needed. But there was a problem. Her heart was still tied to the past-the scars of a relationship that had torn her apart. Aayan. She had loved him with all her heart, only to find out that he had been unfaithful. He had broken her trust, and with it, the possibility of ever believing in love again. Now, with Rayan, she faced a new kind of fear. Could she trust him? Could she let herself fall in love again? Or would her past repeat itself? As Imaan lay awake that night, the answer was clear. The fear of getting hurt was too great. But deep inside, something whispered: Maybe love is worth the risk.
