The war had come to a close...

Although the fighting was over, for one soldier her story would be starting a new chapter. She slumped down on the stone wall of the fortress she was posted at, it had been a few days since the last attack.

She had completely exhausted herself and her wounds that she had neglected had gotten infected. Knowing that her time would soon come, she simply slumped down, taking off her helmet and setting it aside so she could get a better look at the view.

"He told me I'd end up doing this to myself if I wasn't careful... Hehe, I hope he won't be too mad at me." She felt herself getting weaker and weaker. Giving a sad smile she slowly closes her eyes, her head falling limp...
