After escaping Schmigadoon, SMG4 and SMG3 return to find answers, alongside Mario and unknowingly pursued by Mr. Puzzles.

But after a mysterious fog engulfs the four of them, they find themselves trapped in a gritty musical city in the 1920's called Schmicago. Their only hopes of escape? 

Well, Mr. Puzzles and Mario need to find true love. SMG4 and SMG3 need to make a "happy end," whatever that is.

But after a dead body turns up... things start to look to be a lot more difficult than they originally thought.

SMG4: The Power Crystal (Episode) by Giant_Dog_4

As the SMG4 gang stumble and find themselves lost inside of a mysterious forest, they discover a glowing cave that holds a sacred crystal that is said to grant good fortune and power, but also dangerous consequences. To the groups surprise, the crystal gives each and one of them a special power. Except for SMG4. When they realize what kind of power the crystal really holds, SMG4 decides to take it back to the Showgrounds for further inspection and safety. Not just for that... but to also figure out why all of his friends have something special within them, but he doesn't. But what he doesn't realize is that power is hungrier than the people who want it. ("Episode" in the title basically means that it's an episode length instead of the usual novel or "movie" length.) A Debt to Repay (SMG34) by ClearCasket

SMG4 Figured nothing bad would happen if he went to a newly opened casino with his long time friend Mario, but when the latter causes havoc and destroys part of the casino, he and SMG4 get taken to the boss' office. They meet SMG3, the owner of the casino, who isn't all too pleased with the damage caused. SMG4 begs for the man to spare his moronic friend's life, but Mario isn't too keen on sticking around and bails on SMG4. SMG3 puts SMG4 to work in order to pay off the debt his friend incurred. SMG4 hates the work, being humiliated and having to work for peanuts, but a small bit of him finds himself attracted to his new boss, and his boss feels the same.

It starts to get to him as his red, ruby eyes start to get black, his emotions getting more serious and angry, making smg4 scared. One day, smg3 goes missing, nowhere to be found...Can smg4 and his friends find where his lov- I mean friend went, and will smg3 be normal again?...
