Nico Di Angelo often removes himself from the world. Anything real is scary, anxiety inducing, or annoying. It all comes to a stop though, when he's forced to share an apartment with the bubbly Will Solace. Will spend his day singing upbeat songs, interjecting himself into social settings for pleasure.

Their lives couldn't be more different. Will sings and performs on the stage of the bar Belladonna, owned by Reyna and Thalia, in med school to be a doctor, while Nico serves drinks and cleans tables at the same place, also in med school to become a forensic pathologist.

But can the Fates, a shared apartment, a few songs, and a little bit of harassment twine these opposites' lives together indefinitely? Oh, it absolutely can.

All is well and good before Will Solace joins their bubble. Nico gets a strange, tingly, ticklish feeling in his stomach when he's around Will. It doesn't help when they have to pair off to explore the Parthenon and Percy and Jason take off, leaving Nico alone with Will. It also doesn't help when the two boys decide to share a bed at the hotels.
