What if a Grandmage was sent out to explore the New World?

"Archduchess Rosaria Starkey, Grand Mage of Glowburry, Grand Sage of Water Magic, Royal Advisor to me, Queen Leonhart, and the Conqueror of Devil Island, rise." The Queen stood in front of me, hands properly crossed over her stomach.
I slowly rose from the ground as she ordered, standing tall and proud as she carried about the ceremony.
"You have served me earnestly and faithfully within the kingdom of Glowburry, Archduchess Rosaria."
"Yes, Queen Leonhart. I have." I agreed, nodding pridefully.
"With the power vested in me, I, Hilda Leonhart, Queen of Glowburry, assign you as leader of the expedition into the New World in hopes that you will bring back gold, wealth, materials, and what is beneficial or significant to this kingdom, along with the ancient artifact said to grant absolute power."
The Queen held my hand for all in the throne room to see. "Rosaria Starkey. Do you object?"
"Not at all, your majesty."
"In that case," the Queen let go of my hand which fell back to its natural position. "There is nothing else to say. Congratulations. A heavy responsibility is placed upon you. Be wise, be brave, and steadfast in all you do. Luck be with you, my dear, Rosaria. God speed."
I smiled, a hint of smugness present. "Of course, your Majesty. I'll be sure."
